Rejoice

Author’s Note: I am writing this poem to explain my feelings toward the recent losses of my great-grandmother and a dog that I held very close to my heart. I hope that you enjoy this piece and that you take something from it as well.

Loss;

Unbearable;

Heart retching;

Loss.

Remember;

The bumble bee;

The good times;

Remember the love.

Forget;

Forget the loss;

Forget their pain;

Forget the bad.

Hold;

Hold the memories;

Hold the pictures;

Hold them close;

Rejoice;

Rejoice their life;

But only the good in it;

Rejoice the Beauty;
